The Edge is an LED Illuminated light box.
It's advantages are that it is very environmentally green:
- Uses 1/5, (20%) of the electricity of a backlit fluorescent light box.
- There is no harmful mercury used in LED bulbs as opposed to fluorescent bulbs which do contain mercury.
- Lasts for 50,000 plus hours as opposed to 2,000+ hours for fluorescent.
- LEDs run cooler than fluorescent bulbs eliminating heat pollution.
- Entire light box is 95% recyclable.

Frames are "Snap-Lock" - Tool-less front access. Spring loaded, they just flip open.
One inch thick.
Includes acrylic face to hold transparencies in place.
